Andrea Gage-Michaels, J.D., M.D.R.
Legal Affairs Advisor
As our Legal Affairs Advisor, Andrea does public relations, establishes key partner relationships, conducts continuing legal education, hosts guest presentations, creates training videos, develops messaging and social media content, and drafts blogs and white papers. She enjoys helping older people stabilize their lives in times of crisis and supporting lawyers who do this incredibly important work.
Andrea has more than 20 years of experience in representing others and helping them make well-informed decisions. In addition to being named one of the 2019 Wisconsin Women in the Law for her work as an elder law attorney, Andrea was also named a Brown County United Way Shining Star in 2019 for her work in the community. The Shining Star Award honors individuals who have had an extraordinary impact on the United Way organization. Her representation of elder abuse victims was also recognized by All Rise for Civil Justice. All Rise for Civil Justice tells the story of America’s broken civil justice system, the people it hurts, the decisions that brought it to the brink, and the people working to make it better.
Andrea has a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University in Journalism with a minor in History. She earned a law degree from Marquette Law School and a Masters in Dispute Resolution from the Marquette University Graduate School.
Originally from the Ann Arbor, Michigan area, Andrea’s family moved to Wisconsin when she was in college, and she has considered it home ever since. In her free time, Andrea enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with her family and two miniature schnauzers, Walter Mitty and Jackson Montgomery.
