Tom Budenz, CRPS, CLTC
Business Development Specialist
Tom has been a part of our team since 2019. He spends much of his day speaking with attorneys and agents who are new to working with us about the products, services, and tools we offer. Tom can be found analyzing cases, preparing for meetings, and delivering presentations. He also educates our clients about Long-Term Care Insurance, from advising their clients on the basics to discussing advanced planning opportunities. All in all, Tom’s main priority is providing the information and education necessary for attorneys and their clients to determine the most efficient way to pay for care and protect their assets in the process. Tom also serves as a go-to resource within the office for any questions regarding Long-Term Care Insurance planning and contracting.
Tom earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin—Whitewater. He has past experience working as a financial advisor and retirement plan specialist, which helped him gain a solid understanding about how to save for retirement, grow wealth, and protect that wealth. He understands the importance of knowing all the different investment and insurance options available to clients in order to help them recognize the best solution for their situation. With that experience, Tom received a great introduction to the importance of long-term care planning, which he has used to propel him to be more well-rounded and gain a deeper understanding of the need. Tom has his Certification in Long-Term Care (CLTC) as well as certifications in Series 6, 63, 65, and 7.
Now that Tom has a deeper understanding of long-term care planning and the options seniors have for paying for care, he is able to provide the best possible service to clients. He is passionate about helping clients not only recognize financial roadblocks but also develop solutions for the large financial risk associated with long-term care. Tom values curiosity, learning, trustworthiness, and competency in all that he does. For Tom, it’s the small things that matter most, so he relishes anytime an attorney or client expresses genuine gratitude for his help.
Tom works out of our Florida office. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors and playing chess.
